Responsibilities & Context:
Assist the Chief Nursing Officer in the overall management and strategic direction of the Nursing Services Department.
Provide leadership to Nurse Managers and Charge Nurses to ensure efficient and safe nursing operations.
Ensure that nursing services operate in compliance with JCI accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) and other quality indicators.
Ensure nursing practices comply with Joint Commission International (JCI) standards.
Assist in recruitment, selection and onboarding of nursing staff.
Ensure appropriate manpower planning and workforce deployment.
Oversee staff performance evaluations and competency assessments.
Participate in budget planning for nursing services.
Promote a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
