  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.

  • Effective presentation skills to pitch products and solutions to potential clients and stakeholders.

  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed business decisions and Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles in business development initiatives.

  • Experience in managing budgets for business development activities.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives and establish short-term and long-term goals in alignment with the company's vision and mission.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Engage in networking activities to identify potential partners and business opportunities.
  • Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and lead generation.
  • Lead negotiations for major deals, contracts, and partnerships to secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Track team performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and finance to ensure alignment of business development efforts.
  • Manage business development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for geographic expansion and entry into new markets.
  • Explore opportunities for diversifying the company's product or service offerings to capture new market segments.
  • Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
  • Conduct return on investment (ROI) analysis to assess the financial viability of business development initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the business development team to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks associated with business development initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
