Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
- Age 24 to 30 years
- Basic Linux/Unix knowledge (SSH, file system, services, logs, permissions)
- Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash) and basic Python
- Understanding of networking concepts (ports, firewalls, DNS, HTTP)
- Willingness to learn Ansible and Odoo development (prior experience is a plus, not required)
- Interest in Odoo beyond deployment
- Problem-solving mindset—you enjoy debugging across layer
- Good communication—you can explain issues and ask for help clearly
- Experience with PostgreSQL (basic queries, users, backups)
- Exposure to Nginx or other web servers
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JWT authentication
- Familiarity with systemd, cron, or log rotation
- Any exposure to cloud, virtualization (VMs, AWS, etc.), or Odoo module development
- Academic or personal projects involving Python web frameworks (Flask, Django) or ERP systems
Responsibilities & Context:
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based Odoo VMs (Ubuntu/Debian)
- Manage SSH access, file store, PostgreSQL databases, Nginx, and Odoo services
- Respond to system alerts, failures, and performance issues
- Perform routine health checks, log analysis, and cleanup tasks
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Write and maintain Ansible playbooks for VM provisioning, configuration, and recovery
- Automate repetitive tasks (e.g., template DB setup, user cleanup, backups)
- Help improve infrastructure reliability and reproducibility
- Assist in developing and testing lightweight custom Odoo modules (e.g., for tenant onboarding, reporting, or integration hooks)
- Modify existing Odoo views, workflows, or business logic under guidance
- Support tenant-specific configurations using Odoo Studio or code-based customization
- Learn and apply Odoo best practices: security rules, data models, ORM usage, and upgrade safety
