• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE, Master of Science (MSc) in CSE

• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): IT Infrastructure and Network Implementation, IT Services, IT System Management.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Insurance

• Must have clear understanding of IT service Management standard.

• Clear understanding of modern technology trends and direct the organization towards to adapt the modern technology.

• Excellent capability of writing complex SQL queries. Must have experience writing PL/SQL block, Stored Procedures and Functions with knowledge of Indexing, Database normalization.

• Must have development experience in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure domain (Server, Storage, Network, Email Service)

• Knowledge of Software Development Architecture, Software Development Life Cycle.

Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited is looking for dynamic professional for the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Information Technology Department.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing IT systems comprise of Software development and IT Infrastructure of large enterprise having branch across the country.

• Liaison with different internal and external stakeholders and negotiate company's

• stands.

• Provide regular inputs and on-demand report/data to Senior Managements, Regulator and External Stakeholders.

• Lead, manage, develop and retain the Information Technology team and use the team efficiently to produce best outcome.

• Managing various Partners and strive for cost reductions.

• Documenting IT service policies (both IT infrastructure and software)

• Document Software design documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, Database design, Flow chart and other documentation.

• Document Network Diagram and Connectivity with different nodes (Server, Switch, Firewall other etc.)

• Hold accountable for implementing information security practice in the IT environment.

• Managing deliveries to stakeholders as per requisition/previously agreed.

• Implement and Manage Server, Storage, VMs, ESXI, VM network, Oracle Database, Web logic, Apache Web server and Troubleshoot.

• Manage the uptime of the primary site and DR site.

• Provide support services to remote offices.

• Monitoring, trouble shoot the entire IT infrastructure and Insurance management system and ERP.

• Ensure regular backup of all Source code, Data, Core router/switch, email server, application server, IP PBX etc. and ensure recovery drill twice a year.

• Perform user access review of all IT System once in every quarter of a year.

• T/A, Mobile bill, Tour allowance, Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
