• Prior experience in ETP/WTP operation in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with sludge handling, disposal methods, and waste minimization techniques.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, chemicals, and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry) for logging operational records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers and other operators.

Context: ARTNATURE BANGLADESH LIMITED. is located at Bangladesh Specialized Economic Zone, Araihazar, Narayanganj-1460, Bangladesh and is engaged in the business of manufacturing, processing, exporting and importing of hairpieces such as toupees, wigs, wiglets and the like including hair accessories and ornaments, all makes and kinds as well as any all materials including human hair and synthetic hair supplies. To support our new plant at BSEZ, we are looking for candidates who are interested to join in the mentioned position and want to be a part of the company from its beginning of operation in Bangladesh.

ETP Operator Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure wastewater is treated in compliance with environmental rules and regulations.
• Day-to-day operation of various equipment and systems within the ETP, such as pumps, blowers, mixers, screens, and other mechanical/electrical equipment/instruments.
• Monitor and control treatment parameters, including flow rates, pH levels, dissolved oxygen, chemical dosing, and sludge disposal, to ensure optimal and compliant operation.
• Conduct water/wastewater quality parameter tests and optimize process efficiency accordingly.
• Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting of ETP systems and instruments.
• Coordinate safe chemical handling, storage, and dosing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of daily/weekly/monthly ETP reports for submission to management and regulatory authorities.
• Knowledge of operating Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is an added requirement.

WTP Operator Job Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze water samples, record data, and make adjustments to treatment processes based on these results.
• Operate and maintain various equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and chemical feed systems. This includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Meticulously document all operational data, including water quality test results, chemical usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents or malfunctions.
• Knowledge of operating ETP is an additional requirement.
• Track chemical inventory, prepare requisitions, and ensure safe handling and storage.
• Operate the plant in accordance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.
• Prepare and submit regular operational reports to line supervisor.
