  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools.

  • Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of furniture materials, fittings, finishes, and interior construction methods.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

Penthouse Livings Limited is seeking an experienced Estimator (BOQ) to prepare accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and budget proposals for luxury furniture and interior projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, with hands-on experience in preparing BOQs, evaluating drawings, and coordinating with procurement and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and material take-offs for furniture, joinery, and interior projects.

  2. Review drawings, specifications, and design concepts to determine material, labor, and timeline requirements.

  3. Work closely with the design and drafting teams to verify measurements, materials, and technical details.

  4. Analyze supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and assist procurement in selecting cost-effective materials.

  5. Prepare budget proposals, quotations, and cost summaries for clients and internal use.

  6. Attend site visits for measurements, verifications, and project feasibility assessments.

  7. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and design standards.

  8. Track project costs, update estimates, and monitor variance between actual and estimated expenses.

  9. Maintain an organized database of material prices, supplier lists, and estimation templates.

  10. Coordinate with project and production teams to ensure alignment between estimates and execution.
