Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing parts of construction projects. Site visit to refugee camps, site inspection where the projects schemes are located
∎ Monitor construction works on site as per design-drawing; overseeing scheme implementation work and checking technical designs & drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
∎ Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility
∎ Undertaking technical surveys, assessment, setting out sites and organizing facilities and supervising implementation work
∎ Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
∎ Providing technical advice and solving technical problems on site
∎ Preparing site reports and filling in other paper works, survey templates, need base report etc.
∎ Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials. ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to
∎ Site assessment of the area prior construction of physical/hardware schemes e.g. retaining wall, drainage system, roads etc to specify availability of materials
∎ Prepare plans and schedule for all project delivery. Liaise with government authorities, line departments, camp community & host community level, propose alternative solutions for the problems that may arise during all the stages of scheme implementation
∎ Submit various reports, including daily reports with pictures when needed and mandatory weekly reports, from the field
∎ Oversee the project's work progress.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have practical experiences on building construction and work independently;
∎ Have experience to work in the remote areas;
∎ Having valid motor cycle driving license;
∎ Preparation and submission of reports;
∎ The candidate must have ability to identify construction mistake during construction work and correction of those;
∎ Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Photoshop etc.;
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
∎ Sincerity in working with team;.
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity.
Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
