BSc in Engineering (Mechanical/ Marine/ EEE/ Automobile) from any reputed University.
Work Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction & capital equipment market, with a focus on sales/service.
Additional Requirements
In-depth understanding of market trends and client needs in the construction and material handling sectors specifically.
Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive sales approach.
Experience with product demonstration and presentations.
Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork (75% working condition).
Skilled in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email, and online tools for documentations, official reports, and client proposals (25% working condition).
Allocate time suitably among different work activities.
Be a team player.
Achieve assigned sales targets set.
Generate promising new leads, follow-up on inquiries, and convert them into successful client base.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast the sales figures accurately to management & supervisors.
Identify potential clienteles in construction, infrastructure, logistics, and industrial sectors respectively.
Build and maintain a long-term business relationship with contractors, developers, industrial clients, and government/semi-government organizations to foster long-term partnerships.
Visit clients regularly, recognize their operational needs, and propose suitable solutions accordingly.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and product comparisons for clients and prospects.
Prepare and present detailed proposals and negotiate quotations tailored to client needs within company guidelines and policies.
Stay informed on industry trends and monitor competitor activities to effectively position our products.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales activities, opportunities, and challenges based on market trends.
Work closely with the service and after-sales team to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for timely delivery of machines.
Communicate with principals/manufacturers for technical clarifications and marketing support swiftly.
