Education

  • BSc in Engineering (Mechanical/ Marine/ EEE/ Automobile) from any reputed University.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction & capital equipment market, with a focus on sales/service.

Additional Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of market trends and client needs in the construction and material handling sectors specifically.

  • Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive sales approach.

  • Experience with product demonstration and presentations.

  • Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork (75% working condition).

  • Skilled in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email, and online tools for documentations, official reports, and client proposals (25% working condition).

  • Allocate time suitably among different work activities.

  • Be a team player.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Achieve assigned sales targets set.

  • Generate promising new leads, follow-up on inquiries, and convert them into successful client base.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast the sales figures accurately to management & supervisors.

  • Identify potential clienteles in construction, infrastructure, logistics, and industrial sectors respectively.

  • Build and maintain a long-term business relationship with contractors, developers, industrial clients, and government/semi-government organizations to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Visit clients regularly, recognize their operational needs, and propose suitable solutions accordingly.

  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and product comparisons for clients and prospects.

  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and negotiate quotations tailored to client needs within company guidelines and policies.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and monitor competitor activities to effectively position our products.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales activities, opportunities, and challenges based on market trends.

  • Work closely with the service and after-sales team to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for timely delivery of machines.

  • Communicate with principals/manufacturers for technical clarifications and marketing support swiftly.
