• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science

• Education: B.Sc in EEE, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science from a reputed university. Additional professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or PGD in HSE) are highly preferred.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Engineering Firms, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Beverage, Ice Cream, Dairy

• Age At least 30 years

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in health and safety management within large-scale manufacturing units, preferably in the FMCG, Beverage, or Food processing industries.

• Key Competencies: Strong knowledge of factory machinery layout hazards, electrical/fire safety equipment, deep understanding of DIFE regulations, excellent leadership, and negotiation skills.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and proactive professional to join our Beverage Unit as Manager - Safety, Health and Environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% regulatory compliance, leading risk management, driving a proactive "Zero Accident" factory culture, and supervising environmental and safety operations at our Cumilla Factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with Bangladesh Labour Act, Fire Service regulations, and Department of Environment (DoE) standards, including timely license renewals.

• Risk & Audit Management: Lead Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA), conduct regular safety audits, and drive a proactive "Zero Accident" factory culture.

• Incident Investigation: Oversee investigations of all accidents and near-misses, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Environmental Sustainability: Supervise ETP/STP operations, manage hazardous/non-hazardous waste disposal, and monitor factory carbon/water footprints.

• Strategic Leadership & Training: Design factory-wide emergency response plans, lead fire/evacuation drills, and present monthly SHE KPI reports to corporate management.
