Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in major engine overhauling & maintenance activities.
Plan upcoming maintenance with the Maintenance In-Charge and raise requisitions.
Participate in scheduled maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of mechanical jobs, auxiliaries, and workshop area.
Complete and maintain proper documentation and maintenance records.
Ensure adherence to job safety protocols, procedures, and checklists.
Plan, supervise, and execute maintenance during shutdowns and overhauls.
Maintain and update equipment history, breakdown analysis, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure availability of spare parts and coordinate with procurement and stores
Implement safety standards, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with plant O&M guidelines
Provide technical guidance and leadership to maintenance technicians.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance In-Charge
