Experience:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP services.
Ability to independently handle MEP responsibilities and coordinate multiple activities.
Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of MS Project will be an advantage.
Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works across construction projects, ensuring proper site coordination, quality control, timely execution, and compliance with project requirements.
Site Supervision & Management
Manage, supervise, and inspect all types of MEP and electrical works at project sites.
Direct contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure proper execution according to project schedules.
Monitor work quality, material standards, and manpower deployment daily.
Design, BOQ & Documentation
Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical and MEP layout drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), specifications, and work schedules.
Prepare measurement sheets, material requisitions, interim payment bills, and other technical documentation.
Generate regular progress reports highlighting project status, risks, and resource updates.
Coordination & Problem Solving
Coordinate MEP activities seamlessly with civil, structural, and architectural works to avoid design clashes.
Act as the core technical liaison between consultants, clients, suppliers, and internal project management teams.
Identify site-level technical challenges and provide practical engineering solutions promptly.
Quality, Safety & Testing
Inspect and test electrical/MEP installations to ensure proper testing and commissioning before project handover.
Enforce strict compliance with approved engineering drawings, design specifications, safety standards, and project guidelines.
Ensure all works are completed within the designated timeline and allocated budget.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare material requisitions, measurement sheets, interim payment valuations, and technical documentation.
Generate regular site progress reports detailing milestones, potential risks, and resource requirements.
