Responsibilities & Context:
Responsibilities & Context:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
- Define the seasonal design direction and oversee the development of men's and women's apparel collections across multiple product categories.
- Conduct global trend research, competitor analysis, consumer insight reviews, and market forecasting to identify commercial opportunities.
- Create and review design sketches, technical drawings, tech packs, and product specifications to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, sample teams, and technical staff to ensure fit, construction quality, and design integrity throughout development.
- Develop creative fashion concepts and apparel designs.
- Conduct trend, market, color, and fabric research.
- Create sketches, mood boards, and design presentations.
- Develop new styles based on customer and market requirements.
- Select fabrics, colors, prints, trims, and embellishments.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Product Development, CAD, and Production teams.
- Develop and follow up on samples and prototypes.
- Review samples and provide design comments for improvement.
- Ensure designs are commercially viable and production friendly.
- Support seasonal collection and product development.
- Stay updated with global fashion trends and market developments.
- Maintain design files, samples, and development records.
