Responsibilities & Context:

1. Analyze and improve production processes, line efficiency, and productivity.

2. Conduct time study, method study, line balancing, and capacity analysis.

3. Set and monitor SMV/SAM, production targets, and efficiency standards.

4. Prepare production capacity and manpower requirements based on order and production plans.

5. Optimize manpower allocation and machine utilization across production lines.

6. Identify bottlenecks, production losses, and process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.

7. Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Product Development, and Merchandising teams to ensure smooth production flow.

8. Monitor daily production performance against planned targets and identify deviations.

9. Support new style/product development by analyzing construction, operation sequence, capacity, and production feasibility.

10. Develop and maintain line layouts, operation breakdowns, process flow charts, and capacity reports.

11. Track efficiency, productivity, downtime, and other key production KPIs.

12. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production time, wastage, and operational costs.

13. Conduct root-cause analysis for production issues and follow up on corrective actions.

14. Ensure proper production data collection and reporting.

15. Provide practical, on-floor support to supervisors and production teams rather than only preparing reports.
