Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide technical, strategic and administrative support and supervision different level staff (Project Physiotherapist , Field Supervisors etc) in the projects at district, Upazila and community level.
∎ Responsible to liaison with government bodies, NGOs, institutions and other stakeholders
∎ Responsible to organize different levels advocacy meeting, workshop, seminar.
∎ Ability to organize services in which increased access, availability of, quality health care to the population in the remote places who belong the PWD issue. Good knowledge care operating systems on who are suffering from mentally and physical challenges.
∎ Access to emergency services, including a swift and affordable effective referral system.
∎ Responsible to organize and facilitate the creative session with selected mentally and physically selected people.
∎ Responsible to conduct awareness session with family members mentally and physically challenges people, community leaders.
∎ Responsible for health education to outdoor disability patients. Also counseling of patients and their family members for better output.
∎ Counseling of the physically and Mentally challenge patient, regarding Medicine, Advice given & follow-up for proper management.
∎ Responsible for counseling & taking concern for any procedure, during treatment at home and outside of char/area.
∎ Responsible to prepare the areas based list on physically and mentally challenge people. Also identify the needs of area of PWD project beneficiaries.
∎ Responsible to monitor the awareness activities specially Theatre activities.
∎ Responsible to prepare monthly/quarterly/annual work plan, prepare financial documents etc.
∎ Responsible to prepare reports, case study etc.
∎ Closely communication with other program and assist to all program are implemented to follow the integrity approach.
∎ Responsible for any assign work as per advice by concerned authority.
∎ Patients care issues:
∎ Need to show empathy to the patient
∎ Need to explain all the procedure and treatment to the patient.
∎ Need spend more time with patients and give motivational speech.
∎ Working environment:
∎ The own service area will be his or her own responsibility, everything related to patients counselling, health education & information, awareness, advocacy, event will be his or her own duty and accountability to be fulfilled.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years Job experience to the related field from any development organization or institution.
∎ Should have a proven record of leadership, team-building, cultural sensitivity and diplomacy
∎ Working knowledge English and ability of report writing
∎ Working experience with computers
∎ Previous experience in working in the char and islands areas and knowledge of local languages will be a definite advantage
∎ Strong inter personal skills
