Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Delivery In-Charge / Distribution Manager to oversee delivery operations across Bangladesh. The role involves supervising a team of 6–10 delivery and inventory personnel, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to dealers, and maintaining end-to-end accountability across both courier and truck delivery processes.

This is a field-centric leadership role that requires strong coordination skills, proven team management experience, and the ability to enforce operational discipline in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Distribution Management

• Plan, organize, and oversee the distribution of goods across all regions.

• Ensure timely delivery to dealers, distributors, and retail points.

• Optimize routes, transport costs, and fleet utilization.

Warehouse & Inventory Control

• Supervise warehouse operations including storage, loading/unloading, and dispatch.

• Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.

• Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing goods.

Vendor & Transporter Coordination

• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport service providers.

• Negotiate freight rates and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Resolve delivery disputes or transportation issues.

Team Leadership & Support

• Lead and motivate the distribution and logistics team.

• Provide training and guidance to staff for smooth operations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, delivery timelines, and costs.

• Ensure compliance with government rules, tax, VAT, and transport regulations.

• Maintain proper records for audits and management review.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement best practices for logistics efficiency.

• Introduce automation or software systems for better control and tracking.

• Recommend improvements to reduce costs and improve service quality.
