Essential Experience & Skills:

• Strong Drupal 8/9 expertise in multi-site/global setups
• Proficiency in PHP 7/8, OOP, and custom module development
• Experience in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JS, Bootstrap
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Knowledge of JS frameworks (React, AngularJS) and build tools (Node.js, Gulp)
• CI/CD experience, GIT expertise, and working in SCRUM teams.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in non-profits or international organizations
• Drupal 7, headless/serverless architecture exposure
• SCRUM certifications and leadership experience in agile teams

Role Overview: The Drupal Developer will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of Drupal-based web applications as part of large-scale transformation projects. This role combines hands-on development with strategic input on architecture, CI/CD, and best practices. The developer will also provide mentorship to the SCRUM team and ensure robust integration with internal systems while maintaining high standards of security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage high-performing, scalable Drupal web applications
• Build custom Drupal modules and integrate external/internal systems
• Ensure web performance, security (incl. OWASP), and SEO optimization
• Collaborate with digital fundraising, infrastructure, and IT security teams
• Lead best practices in Drupal and advocate for test-driven development
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
