∎ : Master degree in Social science/Biological science, MPH preferred. Have training on SRH/Fistula Prevention, monitoring, supervision and community mobilization.

Job Context:

∎ There are vacancies for the following contractual position for the Elimination of Genital Fistula by Capturing, Treating, Rehabilitating and Reintegrating in Bangladesh (FRRei) Project funded by UNFPA as follows;
∎ Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the overall activities of FRRei Project in assigned District and Sub-district level. S/he is primarily responsible for identifying fistula patients; refer to district hospital or LAMB Hospital for fistula repairing and their rehabilitation, beside that quality implementation, sustainable rehabilitation and strengthening fistula referral system.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. General:
∎ • Attend District & Upazila Health and FP staff Coordination meetings and any committees to which he/she is appointed.
∎ • Create close relation and collaboration with health and family planning department about fistula identifying and referring.
∎ • Create close relation and collaboration with MoWCA, MoSWf and MoYS to rehabilitate who fully cured from fistula at district level.
∎ • Responsible to the FRRei Project's delivery as per plan in the program areas
∎ • Ensure day to day management of the district. Supervise all staff and ensure daily monitoring and timely reporting of the project.
∎ • Planning, designing and implementation of training need assessment and assist to organizing the training locally or centrally.
∎ • Provide technical assistance directly to the staff setting up the FRRei project for ensuring quality service delivery and implementation
∎ • Assist counsellor in setting program goals, planning, implementation, assessment and dissemination.
∎ • Ensuring Quality of Care (QOC) at service delivery points and establishing Quality Assurance (QA) System
∎ • Ensure the successful implementation of the planning, monitoring and evaluation and reporting systems for the program that meet the donors and LAMB’s needs
∎ • Attend meetings and disseminate program activities / feedbacks
∎ • Assist to enhance knowledge and skill of staff on documentation, record keeping, program presentation, facilitation through follow up, coaching and mentoring.
∎ • Analyze decision making that is specific to FRRei project and community and provide this information for dissemination.
∎ • Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health:
∎ • Comply with UNFPA Bangladesh & LAMB policies and practices with respect to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunity and other relevant policies and procedures
∎ 2. Awareness raising/ orientation on FGF for health personnel at district and upazila level:
∎ • Arrange meetings with CS, DDFP, UH&FPO and UFPOs at districts to share the project implementation strategy and possible contributing roles from government department and project.
∎ • Arrange orientation on fistula, case identification and referral system for all health personnel both medical and non-medical.
∎ • Arrange session on fistula, dissemination of awareness message on fistula and referring case.
∎ • Disseminate the message on fistula prevention through regular activities at community.
∎ • Aware the women on possible causes of fistula and preventive measures.
∎ 3. Process of Patient exploration, identification and refer:
∎ • Assist to identify fistula patient at district general hospital or medical colleges.
∎ • Provide incentive for the first identifier.
∎ • Ensure distribution of all refer cost of patients and travel cost of their companion.
∎ 4. Diagnostics, conservative and operative treatment for women with FGF and other forms of disabling incontinence
∎ • Refer the FGF patients as the hospital has the treatment facility and funding source to bear the treatment cost of certain number of patients.
∎ 5. Holistic support and rehabilitation of women with fistula including income-generating training:
∎ • Assess the women’s socio-economic condition and their actual needs.
∎ • Arrange LAMB based training in income generation (IG) e.g. tailoring, poultry farming, cattle rearing, handy crafts etc.
∎ 6. Humanitarian response:
∎ • Conduct health camps during disaster period for the disaster-affected people.
∎ • Deploy required numbers of human resource to conduct health camps;
∎ • Refer the GBV victims to safe shelter (Nari niketon, shishupalli+ etc.).
∎ • Ensure training for EMT on Clinical Management of Rape (CMR) case.
∎ 7. Dissemination of knowledge and sharing rehabilitation model
∎ • Assist to organize national or regional conference
∎ 8. Project Monitoring, quality control, evaluation and reporting:
∎ • Monitor the project on real-time basis.
∎ • Prepare monitoring, reporting and documentation plan of project.
∎ • Responsible to oversee implementation of the assessment, consultations and scaling up of the FRRei Project's service delivery as per plan in the program areas
∎ • Supervise the staff of the project & overall program monitoring, and reporting according to the budget of the project
∎ • Assist organization during evaluation, small study to measure the progress and impact of project.
∎ • Collate information as needed for donor reporting and send reports to concerned management with the consultation of Project Manager
∎ • Develop monitoring tools and schedule, and ensure that program monitoring and evaluation are conducted periodically
∎ • Regularly monitor FRRei Project's activities as well as conduct periodic program reviews with the assistance of the Project Manager and prepare monitoring report.
∎ • Ensuring Quality Standards (QS) of project activities and establishing Quality Assurance (QA) System
∎ • Make an arrangement for the evaluation of the project and the documentation of lessons learned, in consultation with LAMB management
∎ • Ensure the successful implementation of the planning, monitoring and evaluation and reporting systems for the program that meets the donors and LAMB’s needs
∎ • Provide supportive supervision for outreach/peripheral others project’s activities as per need
∎ • Ensure that impact of the program and lesson learned were documented properly
∎ • Assist to enhance knowledge and skill of staff on documentation, record keeping, program presentation, facilitation through follow up, coaching and mentoring regarding FRRei Project.
∎ 9. Quality control:
∎ • Prepare program implementation guidelines
∎ • Arrange income generating training with assistance of respective government department to ensure quality.
∎ 10. Reporting:
∎ • Prepare semi-annual and annual report to capture progress in the reporting period.
∎ • Prepare a brief quarter report will be produced to monitor the financial and programmatic situation of project.
∎ • Sent monthly data to CHDP director to update the dashboard and to monitor the project implementation progress.
∎ 11. Data management and documentation:
∎ • Sent data once in a month to LAMB head office and the data will be preserved at CHDP and LAMB MIS-research department.
∎ • Maintain a data bank to store case study, impact story and other educational materials used in the project.
∎ 12. Environment, Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults:
∎ • LAMB, being a child-focused organization, shall emphasis its highest priority for the safety and security of every child within the working areas. If any incident happens, LAMB will take immediate action against anyone as per its child protection policy. At the same way, LAMB will also give its highest priority in case of abuse of vulnerable adults.
∎ • Consider all materials used or distributed in the project that are environment friendly.
∎ 13. Donor relations:
∎ • Assist Project Manager to generate funds as per community needs and maintains documentation of proposals, agreements, log frame, budget, reports
∎ • Assist PM to generate reports for donors
∎ 14. Networking and advocacy:
∎ • Ensure good communication between LAMB and local level
∎ • Ensure in collaboration with all staffs of project that effective communication occurs between departments and that the components have the necessary resources to fulfill the objectives of the various programs
∎ • Analyze decision making that is specific to project and community and provide this information for dissemination.
∎ 15. Financial Management:
∎ • Prepare and monitor project budget as per requirement of the project
∎ • Approve invoice of the program within the level of authority
∎ • Assist PM to Review project financial report
∎ 16. Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health:
∎ • Ensure prayer at beginning of daily work, before the meeting, workshop, seminar & training
∎ • Ensure availability of religious books and references at all offices, sub-offices/centers
∎ • Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach to communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
∎ • Ensure religious and organizational values among staffs following organizational policies including safeguarding policy (child protection, adult vulnerable policy)
∎ • Promote LAMB values
∎ • Ensure that all staff understand LAMB Mission, vision, and values
∎ • Be an example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision, and values
∎ 17. Others:
∎ • Any other duty assigned by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 33 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Have 5 years’ experience on community health/SRH, referral system and Rehabilitation program and have wide knowledge in government health & FP structure and local government structures.

Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 34,000 -36,000 per month gross.
