∎ Working in outerwear, sportswear.
∎ Handling minimum 75 production lines.
∎ Handling global brands like Hugo Boss, TNF, Timberland, NAPA, Gergio Armani, Lululemon, Columbia, etc.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and develop a sizable team of QA and QC, and responsible for all quality related activities/issues.
∎ Lead and manage the overall quality control and quality assurance functions for garment manufacturing.
∎ Develop and enforce quality standards, procedures, and best practices across all facilities.
∎ Supervise quality audits, inspections, and testing throughout the production lifecycle.
∎ Strong adherence regarding Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 1.5% or 1.5% AQL.
∎ Identify quality issues and analyze complex problems; recommend and implement preventive and/or corrective actions.
∎ Monitor and support the quality issues and communicate with audit and pre inspection team.
∎ Maintain effective communications with members of the buying, merchandising and production, planning, CAD, Logistics and some other departments.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs and their career development.
∎ Ensures that safety, quality and maintain compliance issues are taken as part of the job.
∎ Analyze quality performance data and implement corrective and preventive actions.
∎ Provide training and mentorship to QA/QC staff to build a culture of quality and accountability.
∎ Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure materials and finished goods meet quality requirements.
∎ Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective action plans.
∎ Report to senior leadership on quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
