Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering Department, ensuring effective planning, execution, and supervision of all engineering operations.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for hotel facilities and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with Marriott standards, local regulations, fire life safety requirements, and environmental policies.

• Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen, laundry, elevators, and swimming pool operations.

• Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditure projects, and cost-control initiatives.

• Ensure energy conservation and sustainability programs are effectively implemented.

• Coordinate renovation, refurbishment, and engineering projects with internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain emergency response procedures and ensure readiness of all safety systems.

• Lead, coach, and develop engineering associates to achieve operational excellence.

• Prepare and present engineering reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to hotel leadership.
