Milanty Apparels Ltd., established in 2018, is an experimental garment manufacturing unit entering a new phase of development.

We are launching a comprehensive transformation project covering industrial engineering, productivity, quality, organization, management systems and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a young, analytical and highly motivated Industrial Engineering Trainee who will work directly with the Managing Director and in close cooperation with the General Manager and factory team.

The selected candidate will initially observe, analyse and document the existing organization and operating methods before participating in the design, implementation and measurement of improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study existing production processes, workflows and working methods.

• Conduct time and method studies and establish reliable baseline data.

• Identify bottlenecks, waiting time, unnecessary movements, rework, downtime and productivity losses.

• Participate in capacity analysis, line balancing and workstation improvement.

• Measure productivity and efficiency before and after improvements.

• Map the existing organization, functions, responsibilities and workflows.

• Assist in developing organization charts, job descriptions and responsibility matrices.

• Help establish practical management routines and performance indicators.

• Participate in the development of the company's Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 principles.

• Prepare and improve procedures, work instructions, forms and records.

• Develop practical Excel-based monitoring tools and dashboards.

• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, rework, downtime, absenteeism and other relevant KPIs.

• Work directly on the factory floor with operators, supervisors and management to identify root causes and practical improvements.

• Follow the implementation of improvements and measure their results.

• Document successful improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

This is not a documentation-only or ISO-only position. The candidate will be expected to combine factory-floor observation, Industrial Engineering, data analysis, management systems and practical implementation.

Work Location: This is a factory-based position at BSCIC Industrial Estate Kanchpur, Narayanganj. Daily presence at the factory is required. Occasional meetings may take place at the company's Dhaka office. Candidates must be prepared to live in or near Narayanganj or independently arrange their daily commute.
