Job Context:
∎ Working six days in week.
∎ Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh and Abroad also.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement goals and action plans assuring alignment within manufacturing, Supply Chain and other business partners to achieve business objectives: safety, quality, cost, delivery and people.
∎ Ensure effective plant engagement in research and development of new/improved processes and machinery.
∎ Work closely with maintenance department for equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.
∎ The position is report to Head of Business & Operation.
∎ This position is responsible for managing, coordinating and supporting overall product development of the Company.
∎ Partner with product creation, global sourcing and other key stakeholders to determine and execute Sourcing strategy.
∎ Support, coordinate and team player with production, Planning & operational functions of the Company.
∎ Validate quality processes by Establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
∎ Conduct an inspection of all kinds of Footwear (Shoe/military Boot), leather styles, familiar with AQL inspection.
∎ To ensure that factories follow up closely starting from pre-production stage till the end.
∎ Meet the buyers in house Quality Assurance Officers regularly and ensure the best quality leather.
∎ Deliver manufacturing requirements to ensure on time, on brief, on cost, on quality production of new and improved footwear (Shoe/Military Boot) products.
∎ Improve and maintain product quality by completing product, compliance and surveillance audits; investigating buyers complaints.
∎ Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions and re-validations.
∎ Takes primary responsibility for sub-tasks/results for key processes or is responsible for assigned key processes within the Quality Control Management and for the most part works on themselves
∎ Support in evaluating cases/issues that appear during quality checks at source.
∎ Make proper consumption Sheet, Swatch Board and commercialization process of any new article.
∎ Continuously review information and learning from field.
∎ Any other work required by Project management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A dynamic professional having minimum experience of 10 - 12 years.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Tannery/Footwear (Shoe/Military Boot)
∎ Proven experience in the similar position from any other reputed leather related company.
∎ Must be proficient in leather & Footwear accessories.
∎ Vast knowledge on leather and leather properties, other materials and accessories.
∎ Must have knowledge about international fashion tread, new innovative material, new process of leather sector.
∎ Clear idea about production machinery, its capacity and production.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creativity, resourcefulness and flexibility.
∎ Strong communication skills in English in both writing and speaking.
∎ Excellent knowledge on MS Office, email communication and internet.
∎ Strong team-building, representational and diplomatic skills and building relationship.
∎ Proven interpersonal and intercultural skills, including flexibility and sensitivity
∎ Demonstrated leadership capability in driving operations excellence and meeting goals and objectives through teamwork Personal Attributes: Positive, high energy and go getter attitude.
