∎ As DGM / GM - HR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the human resources strategy for our organization. You will lead a team of HR professionals, ensuring that our HR policies and practices align with industry standards and support our business goals. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the Bangladesh RMG industry and a strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with organizational goals and industry best practices.
∎ Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and retention.
∎ Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
∎ Develop and maintain effective employee relations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.
∎ Design and implement compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain high-performing employees.
∎ Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
∎ Implement effective performance management systems, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and career development initiatives.
∎ Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, motivation, and well-being.
∎ Partner with senior management to understand business needs and provide HR insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
∎ Ensure HR processes and systems are efficient, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Proven experience as an HR leader in the Bangladesh RMG industry, preferably at the Senior level.
∎ In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws and regulations, as well as industry-specific compliance requirements.
∎ Strong understanding of HR best practices, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and compensation.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
∎ Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
∎ Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
∎ Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
∎ High level of integrity and confidentiality.
