Job Context:
∎ We are hiring 1 DevOps engineer.
∎ For our Engineering Team, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer.
∎ who will be key to the intersection of software development and system operations.
∎ Special Requirements:
∎ Office location is in Sylhet, will have to work from office
∎ Weekly holidays: 1 (Sunday)
∎ Office time: 02 pm to 10 pm
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provision, manage and monitor Containerized and VPS servers
∎ Deploy and manage highly available and traffic-heavy applications
∎ Own the security of our various cloud systems & development environments
∎ Implement internal tooling for logging, alerting, monitoring, etc. that requires minimal maintenance to maximizing developer velocity
∎ Advise the engineering team on infrastructural improvements
∎ Strengthen server security
∎ Deploy updates and fixes
∎ Perform root cause analysis for production errors
∎ Investigate and resolve technical issues
∎ Develop scripts to automate workflows
∎ Design procedures and write documentation for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have very good knowledge or AWS as our systems are there
∎ Linux system administration with 2+ years of experience (Debian/CentOS/RHEL).
∎ Ability to write Bash scripts
∎ Experienced in at least one backend language (PHP/JavaScript(Node)/Python)
∎ Experience in deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
∎ Experience in configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
∎ Deploying CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
∎ Experienced in AWS
∎ Having AWS certification is a plus
∎ Logging/Monitoring tools and applications (Elastic stack, Prometheus)
∎ Experience in nginx
∎ Strong Investigation Skills and Pati
