Job Responsibilities:
∎ Build websites, prototypes and web applications using the latest front¬end technologies
∎ Write, modify, and debug web applications using JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, Laravel CSS and WordPress.
∎ Design, code, and manage automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployment
∎ Create modern and responsive layouts from designs and messaging provided by the creative team.
∎ Providing timely resolution to reported problems with existing websites.
∎ Working closely with the project resources to achieve the best possible results in web projects from conception right through to delivery.
∎ Develop new features, enhance existing features, and implement bug fixes in existing code
∎ Self-document development processes, conduct peer reviews, and give actionable feedback
∎ Document the project and code efficiently.
∎ Manage the code and project on Git or to other repositories.
∎ Ensure security guidelines are always followed while developing the app.
∎ Validate the cloud system to ensure any new changes do not compromise security of the backend server.
∎ Suggest new features and/or enhancements.
∎ Maintaining software through product lifecycle including design, development, verification and bug fixes.
∎ Connect regularly with the Quality Assurance Specialist to deliver stable app.
∎ Resolve all the bugs reported by the Quality Assurance Specialist in a timely manner.
∎ Perform time profiling and memory leaks assessment.
∎ Execute app verification protocol.
∎ Following company policies and quality procedures to ensure quality product deliverables.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years’ experience of PHP programming, MySQL, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, Javascript
∎ Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de¬-facto standard plugins
∎ Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:
∎ 1. Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions.
∎ 2. Creation of custom post types. ? Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with WordPress coding standards.
∎ 3. Creation of clean, logical, well documented and re¬usable code.
∎ 4. Theme/template integration.
∎ 5. Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial.
∎ Experience creating multilingual websites.
∎ Good understanding of cross¬-platform and cross¬-browser issues.
∎ Experience with creating responsive websites.
∎ Experience working in an agile development environment with remote teams
∎ Excellent debugging and optimization skills
∎ Unit/integration testing experience
∎ Intermediate English skill.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Ability to multi-task and remain organized, meet deadlines.
∎ Use of jQuery / AJAX / Prototype / script.aculo.us Is an added advantage.
∎ Knowledge of client-side single-page applications using modern frameworks like React, Backbone, or Ruby
∎ Previous experience working for a design agency is an advantageous.
∎ Interest in learning new tools and technologies
∎ Portfolio on GitHub or others platform
∎ Sound knowledge on Angular, Bootstrap
