• Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in fashion design, preferably in the ready-made garments industry.
• Skills: Expertise in garment design, sketching, and material selection. Proficiency in design software like CLO 3D, Rhino, Photoshop, CAD. Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and finishing techniques.
• Soft Skills: Creativity, attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with woven and denim products is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Lead the creative design process, from conceptualization to sketching, ensuring alignment with brand identity and client expectations. Develop innovative and market-oriented designs for garments, focusing on functionality and aesthetics. Create seasonal collections that reflect emerging fashion trends and cater to customer preferences. Oversee the development of product prototypes and samples, ensuring they meet design goals and quality standards.
• Market Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct extensive research on global and regional fashion trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies. Integrate market insights into design concepts to maintain a competitive edge in the ready-made garments market.
• Material Sourcing & Selection: Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments, balancing creativity, quality, and cost. Stay updated on new materials and technologies to enhance design innovation and production efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with merchandising, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production. Provide clear design guidelines and specifications to production teams to ensure accurate execution.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Identify cost-effective design solutions while maintaining quality and style standards.
• Quality Assurance: Work with the quality control team to ensure finished products meet design specifications and brand standards. Address any design-related production issues promptly to maintain quality and consistency.
• Documentation & Presentation: Maintain accurate records of design concepts, sketches, materials, and production details.Present design ideas and collections to clients, buyers, and internal teams effectively.
