Job Responsibilities:
∎ The person selected will be taking ownership to communicate directly with the design team of the customer to understand the requirements for the forthcoming seasons, based to which the range of creative design solutions be provided to the customer to meet their aspirations.
∎ The person selected would be having thorough knowledge about the woven fabric (Fiber contents, constructions, structures, dye routes, mechanical and chemical finishes for fabrics to deliver required performances, behaviours, etc) and would deal with own fabric mill, outside fabric mills to pick/source/develop the right fabric quality with right aesthetic values towards the brand’s personality.
∎ Skills - photoshop / illustrator / 3D sample developments through software, ability to use research tools (WGSN, design briefs, appropriate information sources) and specifically to understand the different brands and their demands based on target customer segments and provide designs alighting to the pricing strategies of different brands.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should have handled woven bottoms, and tops for renown fashion brands.
∎ Strong communication and presentation skills are mandatory. Should be an outgoing personality.
∎ Knowledge on pattern making, grading, adjusting, ability to sew garments based on the specs.
∎ Knowledge on quality aspects and demands, knowledge on Gerber, Lectra pattern making etc would be added qualifications.
