Educational Requirements:

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute and assist the Project Manager, Shelter & Site Improvement and Sector Lead Shelter in planning, designing and management of Shelter & Site Improvement activities especially budget segregation, activities planning, Annual Operation Plan (AOP) etc.
∎ Identify the most appropriate project intervention based on need assessment through field observation, FGD and close collaboration of community people, Mahji and other stakeholders.
∎ Provide Technical & Management support to field colleagues through meeting/orientations/on-the-job training for successful implementation of project activities in line with sector guidance, considering the specific needs of women, children and other vulnerable and extreme vulnerable group.
∎ Maintain regular tracking and update on shelter and Site Improvement activities with necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion of all construction/re-construction/building work.
∎ Supervise the whole implementation process of Shelter and site Improvement activities including randomly following up on the NFI distribution to ensure the quality.
∎ Prepare daily and weekly report as well as monthly reports and submit to line manager in time.
∎ Assist the Project Manager, Shelter and Site Improvement and Sector Lead, Shelter to prepare the half-yearly, yearly and project closing reports and submit to line manager.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Have demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Have experience in project cycle management including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Have effective acquaintance with people management
∎ Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills
∎ Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
∎ Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work
