Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) <www.ypsa.org>, established in 1985 (International Youth Year) is an organization for sustainable development working in Dhaka Division, Sylhet Division, Chattogram Division including Chittagong Hill Tracts. YPSA is implementing a project funding from SIDA HUM. SIDA is a Swedish government agency. Specifically, it stands for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, according to the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. It works on behalf of the Swedish government and parliament to reduce poverty and improve living conditions globally. SIDA HUM is funding the project through Save The Children Bangladesh till December 2025 with high possibility to extension. YPSA is implementing its education activities in different Camps at Ukhiya Upazila in Cox’s Bazar. YPSA is committed to implement Community-Based Learning Facility (CBLF) as well as a Learning Centre (LC) under the project.

Job Summary:
This position is mainly responsible to ensure support to the smooth implementation of the Education in Emergency (EiE) projects in the Rohingya camps and host community. This position requires project management skills including concentrated field monitoring (minimum 70%) and support to team management. The major responsibilities include: quality implementation of YPSA-Education in Emergency (EiE) Projects to achieve the program goals according to Education Sector, SCI and YPSA guidelines. Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly implementation plan and, strategies, Budget management, monitoring and efforts to achieve quality outcomes of the projects, and ensure communication and timely reporting

Support to project development and planning
Ensure necessary support to project management, monitoring, and delivery of results
Technical and operational support to project implementation
Innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building
Provide leadership and support in problem solving, key decision making, quality control, technical input and advice as well as planning, executing, monitoring of the project activities.
Capacity Building and Staff Management:
Arrange capacity building training, workshop, monthly meeting and facilitate sessions (in necessary)
Regular visit in the program area, follow up and provide feedback on field level activities
Identify (and where possible, provide) learning and training opportunities for Project staff and work as a mentor and role model for less experienced staff.
Provide day to day strategic and technical guidance and support to the project team members to implement and facilitate the process monitoring.
Project Management
Overall responsible to support the implementation of EiE activities ensuring that services are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with donor regulations
Provide technical guidance, in all areas of EiE programming, ensuring that implementation methods are consistent with acknowledged good practices and achieve sustainable results
Ensure support to reporting mechanism on Zero tolerance, Safeguarding and noncompliance issues.
Support to develop the project implementation plan including procurement and distribution schedules of program inputs in line with project logistics/supply chain capacity
Ensure that the local CSOs have work plans in place and follow up with them regularly to ensure that activities are on track
Ability to support on project budget prepare, including phased budgets, monthly budget forecasting, and quarterly budget revisions for the project
Ensure proper and effective use of project resources, ensuring that all resources/assets in the project are managed in line with YPSA and SCI policy
Monitor project progress against both programmatic and budgetary targets, adjusting project design as necessary
Prepare timely and high-quality project and donor reports on project activities in compliance with internal YPSA and Save the Children requirements.
