• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in trading, distribution, or raw material industries (chemicals, food, pharma, personal care, or textiles).

• Strong understanding of indenting operations, B2B trade practices, import/export operations, customs regulations, HS codes, and INCOTERMS.

• Proficiency in Landed Cost calculation, ERP systems, and advanced Excel/data analysis.

• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills with exposure to global suppliers.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenges in a dynamic trading environment.

• Leadership capability to manage teams, drive efficiency, and deliver results under pressure.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage the end-to-end procurement of chemicals, food ingredients, raw materials, and specialty products from local and international markets.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, manufacturers, and agents to ensure reliable sourcing.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual agreements to secure competitive advantages.

• Evaluate and qualify vendors based on quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Ensure effective indenting operations and B2B transactions with both local and overseas partners.

Import, Logistics & Landed Cost Management

• Oversee international shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and documentation for imported materials.

• Coordinate with C&F agents, shipping lines, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth import/export operations.

• Conduct accurate Landed Cost calculations (including product price, freight, insurance, customs duties, VAT, and other charges) to support pricing and profitability analysis.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations, including Bangladesh customs, VAT, tax, and port formalities.

• Optimize logistics networks for cost savings and timely delivery.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials across warehouses while balancing demand and working capital.

• Implement best practices for storage, safety, and handling of chemicals, food raw materials, and other sensitive products.

• Monitor batch tracking, shelf-life management, and product quality control within supply chain operations.

• Develop and enforce inventory control policies to minimize loss, wastage, and pilferage.

Supply Chain Planning & Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to align supply chain plans with business targets.

• Conduct demand forecasting and supply planning to meet customer requirements without disruption.

• Support the Sales team with timely product availability and efficient order fulfillment.

• Ensure smooth coordination for Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery to clients, especially in fast-moving industries like textiles, food, and pharma.

Systems, Reporting & Compliance

• Monitor KPIs such as lead time, cost efficiency, service level, and supplier performance.

• Prepare periodic supply chain reports for management decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal audit procedures.
