Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters preferably in Economics/ Public Administration/ Development Studies/ Sociology/ Statistics/ Social Science or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university.

Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this role is to write project proposals, maintain regular communication with development partners, and identify potential donors for BEP and report to management and donors periodically.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regularly monitor donor websites and identify and inform donor opportunities matching the work of BRAC. Undertake independent research in finding alternative resources for long-term sustainability of the organisation.
∎ Assess possible partner organisations for the due-diligence procedure, and conduct Rapid Assessment, and RASCI (roles and responsibility matrix).
∎ Ensure timely inputs on the upcoming potential opportunities to the PGS, GRP Pipeline and Salesforce CRM system.
∎ Write concept notes/ proposals and develop draft plans to answer RFP (Request for Proposal) and share the plan with respective units to finalise the plan.
∎ Maintaining an overview of funding across the organisation and analysing fund sources to inform fundraising strategy and assess progress against targets and assist in preparing program reports as needed for those projects.
∎ Assist in developing BEP yearly fundraising strategy.
∎ Writing Terms of References (ToRs) and preparing justifications for the recruitment of consultants and assisting in procuring the consultancy services.
∎ Drafting contract agreements and MoUs for possible partnership and facilitating signing from the relevant authority.
∎ Coordinate monthly Fundraising and Grant Management Meeting.
∎ Work closely with BRAC affiliates i.e. BRAC USA, BRAC UK, relevant units of BEP and other Departments (GRP, HR, F&A).
Additional Requirements:
∎ PowerPoint presentation ability and comfortable communication skill.
∎ Donor requirement understanding/conceptual skills
∎ Strong English written and spoken skills
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in development sector.
