JOB DESCRIPTION: DEPUTY MANAGER, BTL & ACTIVATION (TWO-WHEELER INDUSTRY)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Deputy Manager, BTL & Activation will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities and activation programs specifically for our two-wheeler products. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry, particularly the two-wheeler segment, and expertise in creating impactful consumer engagement experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
BTL Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive BTL marketing strategies for two-wheeler products
• Plan and budget for various activation programs including test ride events, roadshows, and dealer activations
• Coordinate with product marketing teams to align BTL activities with overall marketing objectives
Event Management & Activations:
• Organize and execute test ride events, demo rides, and experiential marketing campaigns
• Manage dealer activation programs across various regions
• Coordinate roadshows and exhibition participation for two-wheeler displays
• Plan and execute launch events for new two-wheeler models
Dealer Network Support
• Develop activation kits and promotional materials for dealerships
• Train dealer staff on product demonstration and customer engagement techniques
• Monitor and evaluate dealer activation effectiveness
• Coordinate with regional sales teams for dealer support activities
Vendor & Agency Management
• Manage relationships with event management agencies, activation partners, and vendors
• Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective execution of BTL activities
• Monitor agency performance and ensure quality delivery
Reporting & Analysis
• Track and measure ROI of all BTL activities and activation programs
• Prepare regular reports on campaign performance for HOD
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities in two-wheeler BTL space
• Provide insights and recommendations for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
• bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA in Marketing preferred
Experience
• 5-7 years of experience in BTL marketing, preferably in automotive/two-wheeler industry
• Proven experience in managing large-scale activation events and campaigns
• Experience working with dealer networks and distribution channels
• Background in experiential marketing and consumer engagement
Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of two-wheeler market dynamics
• Proficiency in event management and activation planning
• Budget management and financial acumen
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
