∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring effectiveness, accountability and compliance while performing different financial roles in the finance & accounts department.
∎ Location: Head Office
Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Prepare monthly/annual accounts with appropriate notes of assigned portfolio
∎ Review donor agreements and budgets and ensure financial control
∎ Prepare donor financial reports, manage external audit and NGOAB reporting as required
∎ Manage stakeholders (program, donors, regulatory bodies) with the required deliverables
∎ Prepare project chart of accounts and ensure availability in the system
∎ Fund management and reconciliation of receivables and payables of the project
∎ Ensure project opening and closure in the ERP system on time
∎ Prepare and maintain project-wise details fixed asset schedule, regular reconciliation between head office & field office, and Journal Vouchers
∎ Review project transactions and analyse budget vs expenditure
∎ Maintain effective communication with the field offices and their relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of any project
∎ Provide project-related financial reports to the project manager and respective programme staff
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in the development or corporate sector
∎ Experience in Accounts / Finance / Budget / Tax / Audit / VAT will get the preference
∎ Knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Audit, Financial Monitoring, Budget, Tax / VAT
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Learning and collaborative mindset
∎ Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
