Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. Engineering in CSE/CS from any recognized and reputed university.
∎ Master’s degree in CSE /CS from a recognized and reputed university.
∎ OR Professional Certification in ICT
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 14 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, Develop and implement all networking policies and procedures, including those
∎ for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
∎ Estimating methods for hardware and networking equipment costs and systems
∎ benefits.
∎ Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems
∎ within existing systems.
∎ Develop strategies and plans to enhance client services and improve user effectiveness.
∎ Manage lCT staff including hiring, training, evaluation, and guidance.
∎ Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written
∎ protocols and guidance to ICT staff and to end-users.
∎ Set overall network security standards and deploy financial and skilled human resources
∎ to implement and maintain high-level layers of network security across the entire
∎ university information technology system.
∎ Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 45 years
∎ At least 14 years of proven working experience in the IT sector, preferably in the
∎ university sector.
∎ The applicant must be CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certified with proven
∎ working experience in the related area.
∎ The applicant having CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification will get an
∎ added advantage.
∎ The applicant must have RedHat certification/course completion with related working
∎ experience.
∎ The applicant having Microsoft certification will get an added advantage.
∎ Must be proactive and able to execute tasks efficiently.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Good interpersonal-communication skills to deal with people at all levels.
∎ 40-45 years; the Age limit may be relaxed for the highly experienced and competent
∎ candidates.
Salary:
∎ Salary Scale: 42,700-2,700x15-83,200 + other allowances + Technical Allowance equal to
4 yearly increments.
Other Allowances mean 65% House Rent + 10% Conveyance + 10% Medical Allowance
Higher initial pay may be offered to highly experienced and competent candidates.
