Job Context:
∎ Location: Dhaka, with frequent field visits.
∎ Job type: Fixed Term (two years, renewable)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure the effective, and efficient, delivery of business support functions including, but not limited to, legal and donor compliances, funding management, program quality and knowledge management, IT, and security management within Oxfam in Bangladesh.
∎ The teams need to work together to provide the best support and need to have open and continuous communication with the rest of the organisation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of financial management skills, and experience of implementing risk mitigation measures
∎ Proven senior management / leadership experience including in-depth knowledge / experience of at least three of the specific areas of the work (Funding / PQ & Knowledge Management / Finance / Logistics / Security)
∎ Extensive staff management experience, including implementation of disciplinary and performance development measures
∎ Effective written and verbal communication skills
∎ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.
∎ Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women's rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
∎ Commitment to Oxfam's safeguarding policies to ensure all people who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible
Salary:
∎ As per Oxfam national B2 pay band
