Responsibilities & Context:
The Depot In-Charge (DIC) will manage and control overall depot operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, distribution, compliance, and team supervision. The role requires strong operational control, coordination with supply chain functions, and ensuring timely dispatch and accuracy.
Plan and organize depot activities to optimize space and resource utilization
Manage day-to-day depot operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch
Ensure accurate inventory management and stock reconciliation
Monitor stock movement and maintain proper documentation and reporting
Supervise depot staff and ensure operational discipline and productivity
Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and transport teams for smooth distribution
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Control inventory loss, damage, and wastage through proper handling and monitoring
Prepare and submit regular operational reports (stock, dispatch, variance, etc.)
Handle audits and ensure readiness for internal and external inspections
