Job Responsibilities:
∎ Quality Inspection:
∎ Conduct thorough inspections of denim products at various stages of the production process, including raw materials, in-process manufacturing, and finished goods.
∎ Evaluate denim fabric, stitching, hardware, and other components to ensure they meet the specified quality standards.
∎ Documentation:
∎ Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, noting any defects or deviations from standards.
∎ Prepare reports summarizing inspection findings and communicate this information to relevant stakeholders.
∎ Collaboration:
∎ Work closely with production teams to address and rectify quality issues promptly.
∎ Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to understand product specifications and quality requirements.
∎ Training and Guidance:
∎ Provide training to production and quality assurance staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect identification.
∎ Offer guidance and support to production teams to improve overall quality awareness.
∎ Continuous Improvement:
∎ Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and contribute to the development of corrective and preventive actions.
∎ Suggest improvements to the production process to enhance overall product quality.
∎ Communication:
∎ Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure a clear understanding of quality expectations.
∎ Address customer complaints related to product quality and work towards resolution.
∎ Compliance:
∎ Ensure that denim products comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
∎ Sample Evaluation:
∎ Assess pre-production and production samples for quality and adherence to design specifications.
