Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a reputed university, having no third class/division in academic record.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), or MCSA/MCSE Database will be highly regarded.

Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 27 years
Professional Experience: Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in Software development/database administration, with at least 5 years of solid hands-on experience in both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database environments.
Strong skills in MSSQL High Availability (Always On, Clustering) and Oracle RAC/Data Guard implementations.
Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
Proficiency in backup/recovery strategies, including RMAN, log shipping, and cloud-based recovery solutions.
Familiarity with cloud database services (Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS) is an advantage.
Familiarity with IT security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and Bangladesh Bank regulatory guidelines.
Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for automation of database tasks is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MSSQL and Oracle database servers and related products.
Manage database security, roles, and access controls in compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and high availability (HA) planning, including Always On, Data Guard, and RAC configurations.
Monitor and optimize database performance (tuning, indexing, partitioning) to ensure high availability and scalability.
Implement and maintain database replication, clustering, and failover strategies.
Execute database patching, upgrades, and migration activities with minimal downtime.
Develop and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards for capacity planning, data retention, and lifecycle management.
Support developers with query optimization, stored procedure tuning, and schema design.
Manage audit logs, troubleshoot incidents, and provide root cause analysis for database-related issues.
Collaborate with application teams to integrate databases with core banking (CBS), mobile applications, and third-party systems.
