Job Context:
∎ Shushilan - a national NGO has been working in the field of Socio-economic development, Education & ICT and Health & Nutrition Program, Disaster, Climate Change & Environmental Resource Management, Human Rights and Good Governance and Sustainable Peoples Organization Bangladesh since 1991. Shushilan with the funding and technical assistance from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is promoting sustainable livelihood support for the affected host communities and simultaneously building the capacity of the government to address the relevant pressing needs. Shushilan is implementing the project titled ‘Sustainability Aggregation Centers connecting with Smallholders’ Groups (SAC-SHG) in Cox’s Bazar’ to facilitate increased production, market development and improved access to local resources by the target beneficiaries.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Data Enumerator (DE) plays a key role to collect data from different assigned areas.
∎ Have adequate knowledge and experiences on data collection tools and techniques.
∎ Familiar to use different forms, formats, questionnaires and online tools.
∎ Collect and enter data to the server via online tools
∎ S/he will maintain very good working relationships with field staff to ensure the quality of data that will pass through the Data quality assessment (DQA) Process.
∎ Assist Data Entry Operator and MIS Specialist
∎ Verify data and correct data where necessary
∎ Resolving discrepancies and missing information
∎ Able to create favorable environment to collect data from rural context
∎ Able to maintain dead line and work under pressure
∎ Any other duties assigned by the competent authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years relevant experiences including working experiences in Chittagong region
∎ Proven experience as a data collector
∎ Knowledge on computer applications (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
