• Minimum 1 year experience in data labeling, image annotation tools e.g.,Encord, Supervisely, CVAT, SuperAnnotate, Labelbox, Roboflow etc. is preferred.

• Proven experience with Annotation Quality Assurance (QA) is preferred.

• Strong understanding of image, video, audio, and text annotation techniques.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheet.

• Proficiency in reading English is preferred.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high-quality annotation standards.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team.

Job Summary

As a Data Annotator and Image Labelling role at Appalux Global, you will be responsible for accurately labeling images, text, video, or audio to support AI and machine learning projects. Also do QA for data accuracy and compliance with project guidelines. This role requires a detail-oriented mindset, fast learning skills, and the ability to work efficiently on annotation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately label and annotate data across different media types using specialized tools for projects.

• Ensure work meets quality standards, maintaining high accuracy while keeping up with daily targets and fast turnaround.

• Work closely with the team lead to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet expectations.

• Perform daily quality assurance (QA) to ensure labeled data meets project standards.

• Understand instructions, note edge case scenarios and communicate issues for smooth execution and compliance.

• Regularly update supervisors on progress i.e. reporting via Google Sheets, daily completed tasks in order to support project planning.

• Be flexible in being involved in different annotation projects based on needs and industry trends.

• Encourage proactive problem-solving—suggest improvements instead of just flagging issues.

• Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality protocols, ensuring compliance with NDAs and protecting sensitive information throughout the annotation process.

• Contribute to the improvement of annotation guidelines and workflows by providing feedback on challenges or suggesting better practices.

• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Working Hours

• Saturday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• Location: On-Site
