Responsibilities & Context:
Look after the production process through 3 units of padding, 15 quilting machines and a crash fiber machine.
Will play the role of HEAD OF PRODUCTION for Padding, Quilting & Crash Fiber.
Overall Planning, coordinating and controlling of the production process.
Ensuring efficiency and effective production.
Making plan for production schedule.
Working out the material and manpower requirements.
Coordination with the Production incharge, supervisor and liaising with different departments such as suppliers and top management.
Manage, plan, lead activities of Production function. Ensure full focus on achieving all assigned KPIs "end-to-end" (from Supplier to Consumer) linked to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale, following a preventive/predictive approach.
Own strategy development and deployment for Production function.
Coach the team to encourage a mindset of continuous improvement.
Create an environment in which each member of the team is motivated to express own talent and potential.
Must be excellent knowledge of Staple fiber, Flat padding, Fake down, and Bowel down.
Clear idea of resin & water ratio for padding production.
Ensure quality for different types of padding production.
Strong command to the recipe of grade-wise padding production.
Wastage is minimized & used as recycled.
Overall focus on quilting/quilted fabric production & process.
Maintain close communication with buyers & higher management.
Should have knowledge about line administration & production administration.
Any other job assigned by the higher management.
