Assist the Sales Team with rate negotiations, customer follow-ups, and coordination to ensure effective service and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with the Operations, Documentation, and Accounts (Invoicing) departments to maintain smooth workflow and resolve any issues.
Support the Sales Team in managing client relationships and contributing to customer conversions.
Maintain strong connections with local carriers and NVOs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers) to facilitate seamless service.
Skilled in negotiating competitive rates for both ocean and sea freight.
Communicate independently in writing and verbally with customers, carriers, CHAs (Customs House Agents), transporters, and other vendors as needed or directed by the Sales Team or supervisor.
Manage import/export shipments nominated by agents, including WCA and GAL shipments, in close coordination with the global team.
Provide regular tracking updates to customers, as assigned by the Sales Team or supervisor, ensuring clear visibility on shipment status.
Actively promote business with our network partners, including WCA and GAL, to expand opportunities.
Monitor shipments until they reach the destination, providing timely updates to customers, the Sales Team, and senior management.
A commitment to delivering exceptional service and understanding client needs.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and customer interactions.
Ability to handle complex situations and provide solutions quickly and efficiently.
Works collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
