Experience:
Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any related field from reputed university with no third division in academic records.
Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on experience in retail credit appraisal or credit risk functions in a commercial bank, including significant exposure to Home and Agri loans.
Experience in team leadership, credit policy drafting, and handling high-volume portfolios will be highly preferred.
Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:
In-depth understanding of retail credit risk, product structuring, and regulatory compliance.
Proven expertise in appraising complex loan files and recommending decisions to DLA.
Excellent ability to lead and mentor junior officers and contractual staff (e.g., CSEs).
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and credit risk MIS tools.
Strong communication, decision-making, and report-writing skills.

Job Grade: Principal Officer to First Assistant Vice President
Key Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Oversight: Lead and supervise credit analysts and CIB support executives; review their appraisals to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
High-Value Credit Processing: Independently appraise complex or high-volume Home Loans and Agriculture Loans, ensuring due diligence in line with product guidelines and risk frameworks.
Credit Recommendation: Review and recommend thoroughly appraised files to the Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) holder for final approval.
Policy Development & Support: Assist the Head of Retail CRM in drafting and updating credit policies, product programs, checklists, SOPs, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
Risk Assessment & Due Diligence: Oversee comprehensive risk evaluation including financials, business sustainability, customer credibility, CIB reports, collateral adequacy, and external environment.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Act as a liaison with Credit Admin, Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Branches to resolve processing issues and enhance turnaround time.
Audit & Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all documents and files are audit-ready and in line with Bangladesh Bank guidelines and internal policies.
Training & Development: Mentor and guide junior credit officers and CSEs to enhance the credit team's analytical and operational capabilities.
Performance Review & MIS Oversight: Monitor performance metrics of analysts and CSEs; ensure data integrity in the credit MIS and documentation systems.
Strategic Input: Contribute insights to credit portfolio strategies, retail product enhancements, and risk mitigation recommendations to senior management.
