∎ Job Overview: The Coordination Officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the implementation of programs and services provided by the Career and Placement Center, CPC. The ideal candidate should have a technical background, including experience in website management and design, an educational background in computer science and engineering, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, faculty, other administrative staff, and corporates.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The officer's responsibility will be divided into two parts.
∎ 1. Technical Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze website and application requirements.
∎ Manage the CPC's website, ensuring its relevance, accuracy, and functionality.
∎ Troubleshooting application and code issues.
∎ Testing backend features and testing web applications.
∎ Code Optimization.
∎ Write reusable code.
∎ Ability to lead multiple projects.
∎ Good working knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
∎ Understanding of platform architecture and technology, the process of software deployment and environment management.
∎ Ensure CPC's website has enough space to preserve the database for job and internship postings, employer contacts, and student profiles.
∎ 2. Administrative Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate the development, planning, and execution of career events, including workshops, job fairs, employer information sessions, and other career-related programs and activities, and work in the maintenance of CPC's Facebook, website & LinkedIn.
∎ Assist with preparing the brochure and banner internally for CPC.
∎ Assist the Director of CPC in the B-JET (Bangladesh-Japan ICT Engineers Training Program) and B-MEET (Bangladesh-Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training) Project organized by North South University and Miyazaki University Japan.
∎ Provide technical assistance and support to students, faculty, and staff on issues related to technical fields.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ Experience in Web Development: HTML5, CSS3, PHP (Codeigniter), Bootstrap, JavaScript, MySQL, jQuery
∎ Version Control: Git
∎ Other: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office
∎ Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
∎ Previous experience creating scalable applications.
∎ Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
∎ Ability to manage projects.
∎ Good written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
∎ Willingness to work on holidays and after office hours, if necessary.
∎ Third division/ class/ equivalent CGPA of the candidates in any educational level will not be accepted.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 25,383 - 2,538- 63,456 (as per NSU policy).
