Main Purpose:

Prepare meals for patients and MSF staff, according to hygiene standards and security rules, in order to ensure their nutritional needs. (রোগী এবং এমএসএফ কর্মীদের পুষ্টিগত চাহিদা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য, স্বাস্থ্যবিধি ও নিরাপত্তা বিধি মেনে খাবার প্রস্তুত করা)

Accountabilities:

• Carry out the preparation of meals for staff (স্টাফদের জন্য খাবার প্রস্তুত করা)

• Follow at all times all hygiene standards and security rules. (সর্বদা সকল স্বাস্থ্যবিধি ও নিরাপত্তা বিধি মেনে চলা)

• Control stock of food so as to ask for anything needed on time, and prepare shopping list and make purchases if required. (খাদ্যদ্রব্যের মজুত নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা, যাতে সময়মতো প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিস পাওয়া যায় এবং কেনাকাটার তালিকা তৈরি করে প্রয়োজনে তা ক্রয় করা।)

• Ensure meals to be served on time. (সময়মতো খাবার পরিবেশন নিশ্চিত করা)

• If applicable set table before every meal and clean it up after each meal. (প্রযোজ্য ক্ষেত্রে, প্রত্যেকবার খাবারের আগে টেবিল গোছানো এবং খাওয়ার পর তা পরিষ্কার করা)

• Ensure cleanliness of all facilities, utensils and equipment. (সকল অবকাঠামো, বাসনপত্র ও সরঞ্জামের পরিচ্ছন্নতা নিশ্চিত করা)

• If domestic cook, ensure the provision of drinkable water during the day and when she / he leaves: cleaning, filling the filter and empty bottles, changing batteries if necessary. (ঘরোয়া বাবুর্চি হলে দিনের বেলায় এবং তিনি চলে যাওয়ার সময় পানযোগ্য পানির সরবরাহ নিশ্চিত করা: পরিষ্কার করা, ফিল্টার ও খালি বোতল ভর্তি করা, প্রয়োজনে ব্যাটারি পরিবর্তন করা)

• Look after all equipment provided. (সরবরাহকৃত সকল সরঞ্জামের যত্ন নেওয়া)

• Keep an inventory of MSF kitchen utensils and equipment, i.e. plates, glasses, cutlery, cookware, etc., and ensure its integrity. (এমএসএফ-এর রান্নাঘরের বাসনপত্র ও সরঞ্জাম, যেমন—প্লেট, গ্লাস, কাঁটাচামচ, রান্নার পাত্র ইত্যাদির একটি তালিকা রাখা এবং সেগুলোর সঠিক অবস্থা নিশ্চিত করা )

• Report all important information (lost, robbery, damages, deterioration, incident, etc.).to superior (সকল গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য (হারানো, চুরি- ডাকাতি, ক্ষয়ক্ষতি, নষ্ট হওয়া, ঘটনা ইত্যাদি) ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্তৃপক্ষকে জানানো)

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:

• Ensure meals are prepared in appropriate time and quantity (খাবার সঠিক সময়ে ও পরিমাণে প্রস্তুত নিশ্চিত করা )

• Dishwashing regularly (নিয়মিত থালাবাসন ধোয়া)

• Report losses, spoilages, and breakages to supervisor (সুপারভাইজারকে ক্ষতি, নষ্ট হওয়া এবং ভাঙা জিনিসের বিষয়ে রিপোর্ট করা)

• Managing the kitchen food store and keeping weekly food orders or extra food orders when necessary (রান্নাঘরের খাদ্য ভান্ডার দেখাশোনা করা এবং সাপ্তাহিক খাবারের অর্ডার অথবা প্রয়োজনে অতিরিক্ত খাবারের অর্ডার রাখা।

• Responsible for reception of food deliveries to the kitchen food store and checking of expiry dates (রান্নাঘরের খাদ্য ভান্ডারে সরবরাহকৃত খাবার গ্রহণ এবং মেয়াদোত্তীর্ণের তারিখ যাচাই করা)

• Weekly keep the kitchen record with possible shortages of basic items for the weekend (e.g. sugar, salt, etc.) and restock them (সাপ্তাহিক ভিত্তিতে রান্নাঘরের রেকর্ড রাখা এবং সপ্তাহান্তের জন্য মৌলিক খাদ্য উপাদান (যেমন চিনি, লবণ, ইত্যাদি) সম্ভাব্য ঘাটতিসহ তালিকা করে সেগুলো পুনরায় মজুত করা )

• Planning weekly shopping of grocery for the required assigned premises (domestic/office) নির্ধারিত অফিসের জন্য সাপ্তাহিক ভিত্তিতে মুদি কেনাকাটার পরিকল্পনা করা)

• Keep record of accounts of expenses after shopping (কেনাকাটার পর খরচের হিসাবের রেকর্ড রাখা)

• Planning weekly menu with HR Assistant (এইচআর অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্টের সাথে সাপ্তাহিক মেনুর পরিকল্পনা করা)

Contract and Benefit (চুক্তি এবং সুবিধা):

• Permanent contract renewable based on performance and operational needs. Salary according to level Two (2) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 35000 Gross). Salary is non-negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule. (পারফরম্যান্স এবং কার্যক্রমের প্রয়োজনীয়তার ভিত্তিতে পার্মানেন্ট কনট্রাক্ট প্রদান করা হবে। এমএসএফের অভ্যন্তরীণ বেতন কাঠামোর দুই নম্বর লেভেল অনুযায়ী মোট বেতন পঁয়ত্রিশ হাজার টাকা)

• 2 annual leave days per month worked. (প্রতি মাসে কাজের জন্য ২ দিনের বার্ষিক ছুটি)

• Medical Reimbursement for employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Recruited Staff. (স্থানীয়ভাবে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত কর্মীর স্বাস্থ্যসেবা নীতিমালার ভিত্তিতে কর্মচারী ও তার প্রত্যক্ষ নির্ভরশীলদের চিকিৎসা ব্যয় প্রদান)
