Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) passed. Education qualification can be relaxed for potential female candidates and male candidates with relevant experience
Job Context:
∎ Save The Children Bangladesh has established a Severe Acute Respiratory Infection Isolation and Treatment Centre (SARI ITC) in Teknaf Upazila of Cox`s Bazar District. This centre provides services for Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) and Host Communities. Save the Children ensures appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for everyone associated with treatment, care or services in SATI ITC.
∎ Currently, we are expanding SARI ITC operations, increasing the number of patient beds to 60 (sixty) in the facility. In this regard, we would like to invite interested and potential candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates.
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2021, with possibility of extension
Additional Requirements:
∎ Prior experience in community mobilization, preferably in the context of emergency response health program in camp areas
∎ Ability to carry out patient registration, counseling, and sessions on health awareness
∎ A good understanding of the affected community and its current contexts; possibly a member of the community or can represent SCI in the community in an acceptable manner
∎ Motivated to work in the camp areas maintaining the highest form of health protocols amidst this pandemic
∎ Basic level of literacy with ability to collect data and produce handwritten reports
