JOB PURPOSE:
To provide strategic leadership for the Bank`s technology function, driving digital transformation, cybersecurity, automation, Al/ML adoption, regulatory compliance, and sustainability-focused IT practices such as paperless operations and green banking. The role requires managing legacy system enhancements, delivering future-ready platforms, and embedding operational risk and governance into all technology services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
Drive the bank`s digital transformation roadmap aligned with business goals.
Promote innovation through Al/ML, automation, and cloud solutions.
Modernize legacy systems and establish scalable, secure IT architecture.
Operations & Project Delivery
Ensure uninterrupted IT services and alignment with operational needs.
Lead timely delivery of IT projects (incl. CBS, integrations, upgrades).
Oversee project governance, vendor performance, and resource planning.
Cybersecurity & Risk
Lead cybersecurity strategy (SOC, endpoint security, incident response).
Integrate IT risk with enterprise risk framework and regulatory standards (ISO 27001, NIST, BB Guidelines).
Green IT & Paperless Initiatives
Implement document digitization, e-signatures, and eco-friendly IT practices.
Administration & Performance Management
Manage IT portfolio, vendor contracts, and enforce KPIs/SLAS.
Systems & Support Oversight
Oversee development, system changes, and digital service reliability.
Foster automation, process simplification, and user-centric delivery.
MIS & Data Analytics
Ensure timely regulatory and business reporting via core and digital systems.
Support data-driven decisions with dashboards and analytics tools,
Capability Development
Build IT team capacity through structured training in Al/ML, cloud, DevSecOps.
