Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Master’s degree in a relevant field will be preferred.
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, COBIT, PMP, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in IT, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
Proven experience in core banking systems (preferably Temenos), IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and large-scale IT project implementation.
Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk management frameworks, and emerging financial technologies.

Assess digital banking platforms and recommend service improvements.

Ensure compliance with guidelines of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory authorities.
Provide periodic reports to Management and the Board on IT risks, performance, and strategic initiatives.

Scope of Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the IT Consultant will include, but not limited to, the following:
Review the Bank’s existing IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with directives of the Board regarding IT and Information Security functions.
Recommend cost optimization strategies while enhancing operational efficiency, system security, and customer experience.
Guide implementation of AML solutions, Risk-Based Supervision requirements, and IFRS 9-related technological compliance.
Strengthen cybersecurity frameworks in line with regulatory and industry standards.
Review and update IT policies, guidelines, and operational manuals to improve overall IT risk rating.
