Unit Head, Government and Institutional Relations – Deposit

Job Grade: VP-SVP

Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive growth of Government and Institutional deposit portfolio across the Distribution Network through strategic relationship management, ecosystem banking, and nationwide business development initiatives.

• Lead solution-based CASA and low-cost fund mobilization aligned with the operational, transactional, and financial requirements of government, autonomous, and institutional clients.

• Ensure strategic coordination across 312 branches and sub-branches and relevant stakeholders such as Transaction Banking, Asset Liability Management, and Employee Banking teams to maximize deposit mobilization and cross-functional business opportunities.

• Strengthening BRAC Bank’s presence in the government and institutional sectors by identifying new business opportunities, onboarding new relationships, and deepening existing relationships.

• Lead and mentor the Government and Institutional Relations RM team to maintain strong client relationships, ensure service excellence, drive portfolio growth, and deliver business targets effectively.

• Promote digital and transaction banking adoption among government and institutional clients through customized collection, payment, payroll, cash management, and digital baking solutions to reduce manual dependency and improve operational efficiency.

• Drive ecosystem-led business acquisition initiatives, including employee banking, collection solutions, and institutional ecosystem expansion to enhance wallet share and increase customer stickiness.

• Monitor the business pipeline, CASA mix, portfolio profitability, and relationship performance to ensure sustainable growth and target achievement.

• Maintain effective engagement with senior government officials, institutional stakeholders, and internal business teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards.

• Support strategic initiatives, market intelligence, and business analytics to strengthen BRAC Bank’s competitive positioning in Government and Institutional banking segments.
