Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop and implement Bank’s Transaction Banking Strategy aligned with overall corporate and wholesale banking objectives

  • Drive growth in transaction banking revenue, deposits, trade assets and fee based income.

  • Establish annual business plans, budgets, KPIs and growth targets

  • Monitor market developments, competitor activities and emerging industry trends

  • Lead Cash Management product development and commercialization

  • Develop CASA strategies for CASA acquisition and retention

  • Work closely with Treasury to optimize liquidity solutions for clients

  • Manage strategic relationships with Large Corporate, Multinational Companies (MNCs), Government Organizations, Financial Institutions, Development Organizations and conglomerates

  • Lead transaction banking sales pipeline and mandate acquisition

  • Conduct regular client visits and executive level engagement

  • Lead development of next generation transaction banking products

  • Drive digitization initiatives including Host to Host Connectivity, API Banking, Corporate Internet Banking, ERP Integrations, Digital Trade Platforms, Electronic Collections, Real Time payment solutions

  • Collaborate with Technology, Operations and Digital Banking teams for solutions implementation

  • Improve client experience through automation and straight through processing (STP)

  • Originate and execute Trade Sales opportunities, expanding client wallet sharing through structured and solution led engagement

  • Advise clients on working capital optimization, trade structuring and liquidity management solutions aligned with business cycles.

  • Structure and deliver integrated trade and cash solutions, including

    Structured Trade Finance

    Supply Chain Finance

    Receivables & Payments

    Liquidity & Cash Concentration

  • Play a key role in supporting the centralized Transaction Banking Model, working in close alignment with Corporate Banking teams to:

Separate coverage vs product specialization

Enhance client engagement through solution driven sales

Improve efficiency and scalability of transaction banking delivery

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives including digitization and market expansion
