Education:
    • Bachelor/Honors
  • MBA/MBM/Masters (preferably Business) from UGC approved universities having no 3rd class in academic records.        

  • Candidate having minimum 16 years of schooling will be eligible.

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in relevant desk with knowledge in retail credit assessment and risk mitigation of in any commercial banks/ financial institution.

  • For position above Assistant Officer (AO), candidates must have a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.    

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.        

  • Enthusiastic, proactive and capable of working in a competitive and challenging environment.        

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Evaluate credit proposals submitted under the Retail Business segment, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

  • Analyze financial and non-financial information including financial statements, cash flow statements, industry dynamics, and management quality.

  • Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal reports (credit memos) highlighting risk identification, structuring, and mitigation strategies.

  • Assess key risk factors and recommend appropriate credit structures and covenants.

  • Conduct on-site visits to client business premises/construction projects to verify operations, assess business viability, and ensure proper due diligence.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to support informed credit decisions.

  • Ensure timely turnaround (TAT) of credit decisions while maintaining high assessment standards.

  • Monitor existing portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and escalate potential risks to minimize non-performing loans (NPLs).

  • Monitor sanction terms, covenants, and conditions periodically and escalate breaches where necessary.

  • Conduct periodic review and renewal of existing credit facilities, including root cause analysis of delinquent accounts.

  • Coordinate effectively with business units, risk teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth credit processing and portfolio management.

  • Support management in additional assignments and contribute to continuous process improvement.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor/Head of CRM/Management to support the Bank’s credit operations and asset quality.
